State of Maine Approved Massage Program
Why You should choose Our Massage Program! Not only is our massage curriculum approved by the State of Maine Department of Education, but also assigned by the American Massage Therapy Association.
How does that benefit you as a student? As an assigned program, we are held to high standards of curriculum, curriculum hours, education standards and code of ethics and principles. As an AMTA assigned program, our students receive free student membership with AMTA, providing student benefits including student business liability insurance coverage - this protects you and the people you work on while active in our program.
Foot Reflexology Certification
It keeps getting better! With our approved massage program, you not only receive your Massage Therapy License Program diploma, but also Certification of Reflexology. (If you are interested in only Reflexology Certification, customized education training outside of our Massage Therapy Program may be an option - email us to inquire about how to enroll for Reflexology Classes Only).
Program Schedule
Our personalized massage training program offers a flexible, mentor-guided schedule designed to support individualized learning, hands-on skill development, and professional growth. Rather than following a traditional classroom structure, students progress through a personalized educational experience tailored to their learning style, pace and life responsibilities, while fulfilling the integrity and requirements of a state-approved massage therapy education program.

This supportive format allows students to receive focused attention, individualized feedback, and ongoing mentorship throughout the program while building confidence in both technical skills and client-centered care.
Financials
- Application fee $50
- Registration $500
- Tuition $11200 - Total $11750
(Federal Financial Aid / FASFA is not applicable, in-house payment plans are available)
Textbooks not included- complete program textbooks totaling $300-400 depending on where a student purchased their books
Approved applicants are required to submit the $500 registration deposit according to admission guidelines. Registration deposits are refundable up to 30 days prior to term start date, at which time, registration deposit will be refunded less $150.
Payment plans are established during the admissions process and completion of the student financial contract. All financial balances must be paid in full 14 days prior to graduation date, in order to receive graduation diploma.
***With a signed enrollment contract, student is responsible for tuition in full regardless of their academic results.
What's Included
Our tuition includes the cost of classes for our approved massage program curriculum, general class supplies, and a basic massage table (supplied to student once clinic practice begins/table is non-returnable & non-refundable value).

- Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Kinesiology as applied to Massage Therapy
- Massage Classes including Swedish techniques, Deep Tissue, Pregnancy, Infant, Geriatric & Chair Massage, Reflexology Protocol, Hydrotherapy & Trigger Point, Benefits & application of Pure Grade Essential Oils
- Clinical protocols with Supervised Hands-on
- Foundations of Touch Ethics
- Self-Care & Centering Techniques for Body/Mind Balance
- Intros to Energy Bodywork may include: Reiki, Craniosacral Therapy and more
- Business Design, Marketing Your Service Business, Presentation & Community Involvement
Class Schedule
Class schedules are created in a way to support our student's balance of life in mind, body and spirit. Each student will meet with the Director of Administrations to create a schedule that is mutually beneficial for both the instructor & student. Our goal is to assist each student in making their vision of a massage therapy career, a reality! Let us make it possible together.

Zardus School of Massage is amazing! With so much to learn, school can be overwhelming, but at Zardus, instructors strive to reduce stress and find ways to accommodate everyone's learning style. Life changing experience!!!! I entered massage school with the intention to gain knowledge on how to serve my community better. I got SO much more than that. With the care and direction of instructors, and the guidance (an lots of reassurance from Teresa Zardus) I had one of the best years of my life (even through Covid-19!) The wonderful course curriculum is hands down the best for a well-rounded massage school experience.
